How to apply a vinyl car decal

Need help installing your vinyl car decal? Here's an instructional video explaining the process. 

Step 1: Clean the Surface

- Cleaning is extremely important because you are removing any dirt or dust that may be on the surface. Be sure to dry the surface before trying to apply and stick the decal to the surface. 

Step 2: Peel from Backing

- Now you're ready to peel the decal off of its backing. This will expose the adhesive. 

Step 3: Stick and Smooth

- Carefully stick the decal exactly where you want it. Be sure to have it level as the decal may be difficult to reposition after it is already stuck on the surface. Once it's stuck, be sure to smooth it out with your hand or plastic card.

Step 4: Remove Transfer Sheet

- The last thing you have to do now is to remove the clear transfer sheet on top of the decal. This sheet exists to make installing the decal much easier. Slowly peel this clear transfer sheet off from the decal and throw it away. Your decal will be left still applied to the surface. If the decal happens to still be sticking to the clear transfer sheet, repeat Step 3: Stick and Smooth to really get the decal to adhere strongly to the surface.
